The Raymarine AIS250 Receiver Module connects to your existing VHF antenna using its built-in VHF splitter. The AIS250 is a “listen only” AIS (Automatic Identification System) Receiver Module. Featuring NMEA multiplexer it enables receiving both AIS data and another NMEA 0183 source through a one single port.

By connecting the AIS250 Receiver Module to any of Raymarine A/C/E/G Series Multifunction Displays you will be able to exchange wireless data with an on-shore traffic monitoring centers as well as graphically view other vessels navigation data both in Radar and Chartplotter modes.

The AIS250 Receiver is able to monitor class A and class B AIS broadcasts. All type of sea vessels that broadcast AIS messages containing vessel's name, it's speed, course, and navigation status are shown on the screen reconciled with other radar targets for added safety.

With regard to the NMEA 0183 input and output ports of the Raymarine AIS250, one of each is provided at 38,400 and 4,800 BPS. Additional technical requirements and specifications are listed below.
